My Studio faces a theatre of changing skies and wonderland of wooded acres where I can experience nature on both a macro and micro level, respectively. Referencing the natural forms that I collect on my walks and witnessing weather phenomena outside my windows, allows me to translate my sensual experience of nature, both seen and felt into charcoal and paint. Through a visual language of line form and color, I explore the connection between nature and human nature, destruction and creation, chaos, change and order. The natural work permeates my studio, my psyche and my artwork.
